Musical Director

We are delighted to have Dorian Kelly as our Musical Director, who joined us in September 2018.

His many musical skills include teaching brass ensembles and keyboards, he has been a professional trumpet player working with people such as Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey, The Temptations, The Drifters, Neil Diamond and Jamie Callum.

Dorian is also a freelance composer and arranger, with music used in over 30 short films and several countries on both TV and radio.

Having grown up in Reading and developed his musical education and skills there, Dorian moved north and continued to develop his musical career. He is a music examiner and musical director of 3 other choirs in our area, as well as continuing to teach brass part time.
